Raids Outline
Team Captain: Kirlissa Alane
Be there 15 minutes before the run to be on time!
Ready check goes out 10 minutes before the raid time.
Entering raids generally begin 5 minutes til raid time.
Warm ups should be held during this 15 minute time and not after.
Attendance is important, but understand if something comes up that is equally important. Please let us know as far in advance that you will not be present so we can make adjustments as early as possible.
Gear is important! We won’t be holding you to the exact BiS but melding and making an attempt is important.
If you’re unsure of which gear you need and stats you’re focusing on, try asking a mentor.
At least make sure to do your weekly runs for gear ahead of the raid time.
We will not run during raid time for your gear (With the exception of course of the savage content.)
Coming to the fight prepared is super important. If you need any food or anything to help prepare for it, ask the Team Captain ahead of time.
Make sure to repair your gear before going in. (I’m talking to you Lich!)
The schedule in which raids will play out will be set by the team leader.
The team leader will inform everyone of the running schedule in a timely manner of their own choosing and will inform the whole team via the team text channel on discord.
All new content that will be run will need to be informed to the team within 24 hours or more in advance to allow team members the time they need to prepare themselves for the fight.
The person doing callouts will be picked by the Team Captain. Any other chat is at the discretion of the Team Captain. (I.E. any side chatter)
I have loosen the restriction on talking a lot. It is fine as long as it isn't over running the callouts.
Try to keep chatter focused on Final Fantasy or on raid banter, leave other distractions at the door.
Jokes are fine but do understand we are keeping a serious mentality towards clearing.
Members must be receptive to constructive criticism from the Team Captain.
It is the Team Captains' job to help make the team successful, so the criticism they give is to help a Team Member improve.
Voice Chat is required for raid teams. Speaking isn’t required but you must be present to hear callouts and mechanics.
A 15 second countdown is mandatory for tank pulls!
Be patient, it is important that openers have proper preparation for some classes.
If your abilities attack immediately do not act before the timer concludes.
If the countdown needs to be adjusted for someone we can be flexible, except if the dancer wants the 30 second countdown. To hell with that!
Make sure to leave your ego at the door!
All members will need time to learn when mistakes happen. No one is better than another.
We are a causal group, the goal is clearing together as a group, so please understand that skill level can be an issue. We’re here to support our players and not tear them down so if there is a skill issue we’ll keep trying to power through it. Just take a deep breath and be patient. Others will catch up with the group as we go in that skill gap.
Leave all personal problems at the door. We are training and practicing towards clears of content. Keep a state of mind that keeps the content in focus.
This is not an FC Raid Group. Any negative actions that occur will be dealt with by the Team Captain.
